Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

Only The Finest (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to customer satisfaction while also protecting the integrity of our marketplace. This Refund & Return Policy (“Policy”) explains when refunds are granted, what items qualify for return, and the steps required to request a return.

By purchasing from Only The Finest, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

1. GENERAL POLICY

Most items sold on Only The Finest are final sale due to their collectible nature, auction format, or consignment status.
Returns are not accepted unless the item:

  • Arrives damaged during shipping,

  • Is materially different from the description, or

  • Is proven to be counterfeit.

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Buyer’s remorse

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect purchase

  • Condition disputes based on subjective grading opinions

  • Delays caused by shipping carriers

  • Minor wear consistent with vintage or pre-owned items

2. ELIGIBLE REASONS FOR RETURN

A return request may be approved only for the following reasons:

A. Item Not as Described

Examples include:

  • Wrong item shipped

  • Missing components clearly listed in the description

  • Significant undisclosed damage (not visible in photos or description)

B. Item Damaged in Transit

  • Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery

  • Photos of the item and packaging must be provided

  • All packaging must be kept for carrier inspection

C. Counterfeit or Authenticity Issue

For items represented as authentic, buyers must provide credible proof (e.g., professional grading company rejection letter).
We reserve the right to verify authenticity through our own evaluation process.

3. ITEMS THAT ARE STRICTLY NON-RETURNABLE

To protect the marketplace, the following items cannot be returned under any circumstances unless counterfeit:

  • Graded cards (PSA, BGS, SGC, etc.)

  • Slabbed or factory-sealed items

  • Auction wins

  • “As-is” or vintage items

  • Mystery lots, random packs, and sealed boxes

  • Custom orders or made-to-order items

Once opened, altered, or tampered with, items become non-returnable.

4. TIMEFRAME FOR RETURN REQUESTS

All return requests must be submitted within:

  • 48 hours of confirmed delivery for damage claims

  • 72 hours for “not as described” claims

  • 7 days for authenticity concerns (with proof)

Requests submitted after these windows may be denied.

5. RETURN APPROVAL PROCESS

Your message must include:

  1. Order number

  2. Photos of the item

  3. Photos of the packaging

  4. Detailed explanation of the issue

  5. Any supporting documents (if applicable)

We will review and respond within 2–4 business days.

6. RETURN SHIPPING

If a return is approved:

  • Returns must be shipped within 5 business days of approval

  • Returns must be sent with tracking and insurance

  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping unless the issue is our error

  • Items must be returned in the same condition received

Failure to follow the return instructions may void the return.

7. REFUND ISSUANCE

Refunds are issued only after:

  1. The item is received back,

  2. The item is inspected, and

  3. The issue is verified.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after inspection.

Shipping costs, buyer’s premiums, and fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

We reserve the right to:

  • Charge a restocking fee (up to 15%) for certain returns

  • Deny refunds for items returned damaged, altered, or switched

8. FRAUD PREVENTION

We take fraud seriously. Returns will be rejected if:

  • The returned item is not the same as what was shipped

  • The item shows additional wear or damage

  • Seals, cases, serial numbers, or grading slabs are tampered with

  • Evidence suggests misuse or intentional damage

Buyers engaging in fraudulent activity may be banned and reported to authorities.

9. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

International purchases are final sale unless:

  • The wrong item was shipped

  • The item is counterfeit

Customs delays, duties, VAT, and taxes are the buyer’s responsibility and are not refundable.

10. CANCELLATIONS

Orders cannot be canceled once:

  • They are marked as shipped

  • An auction has ended

  • Payment has been submitted

We reserve the right to cancel orders for suspected fraud or incorrect pricing.
